**TRINITY RIVER AND LOWER SAC FISHING GREAT!!!**
Natures Flower Garden:

What a great week to be up in the Mt Shasta area! The temps are hot, but escapes up into the high mountain lakes make for a refreshing retreat plus the views and scenes are there for you! Hope you have all had a good one. I've been doing a little guiding, and a lot of cruising around my region snapping shots for the web site. I hope you like this picture of Mother Nature's flower garden shot up on the Eddies. There are 7 different types of wild flowers in this one picture! I'm happy to announce my friend Jerry Hannan of the Mad Hannans will be the opening act for the Doobie Brothers at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, August 27th and 28th. Wow! Back stage with the Mad Hannans and the Doobie Brothers, I'll try to get some cool pics for us!! jt

Mike Hibbard Trinity:

Over on the Trinity the flows have been lowered to 450 CFS! That's a little on the low side but makes it terrific for catching numerous 1/2 bers and the occasional adult.... Mike, our friend Doug and I caught over 40 each yesterday, using 3 different methods. My favorite was the dry fly action!! We highly suggest you drop everything and get up here pronto, you can see healthy 10lbers right in front of you. We've had a customer hook a 8 to 12lber last week and it got off. Come on up and let us guide you into a 20+ fish day!! Jack Trout 530-926-4540 ON DRYS!!!

Steelhead and Mike Hibbard:

Could you imagine catching 20 to 40 of these all on dry flies?!! You might catch the elusive, MONICA if you're lucky, Sizzlers!! But best of all, you're on the crisp, clear, clean water of the Trinity Alps, rebooting that computer in your head, possibly remembering childhood days with family and friends that were similar to this.....

Trinity Doug 2004:

Doug here with a small but very hard fighting 1/2 ber. Doug stayed in the same spot for hours cause he could see a school of very large adults right in front of him!! That's worth the trip right there, to see the fish you're fishing for....

Mt Shasta from 8800 feet:

Here's a great view for you! Black Butte (Muirs Peak) and Mt Shasta with a kinda heavenly look. I really like this picture because it stares down on the area where I live just west of Black Butte, between Black Butte and the Eddies.

Monkshood 2004:

This is monkshood! It does look like a monk's hood.... Or like, that hood that Sneezy wears in that movie.... It's a wild flower that grows up here and was actually used as the wild flower picture of choice, for the Mt Shasta Fourth of July runners race t-shirt in 2002. Every shirt had a monkshood on it! I liked those shirts the best. If you would like back orders for any year shirts call the Marshalls at 530-926-5651 You can get a cool Mt Shasta shirt!

Fran Cooper mccloud:

Out for her first time fly fishing, local Mt Shastain, Fran Cooper and her husband Herb caught nice trout on the McCloud River! I really enjoyed these high quality locals out enjoying their national forest resource. Copper John size 18 is a ringer on the Mccloud right now! Lt. Cahill size 18 for dry... jt

Fran fishing:

Ready for action! Fran Cooper, you're my SIZZLER OF THE WEEK AWARD WINNER!! CONGRATULATIONS SIZZLER!!!
