Three Year Anniversary, Thank you for watching!! Hedge Crek Falls: Hedge Creek Falls, is a wonderful place to spend a warm Spring day. This is a special place located right outside of Dunsmuir, with easy access and million dollar views. In fact, this is actually called, "the million dollar water fall," cause that's what it cost Cal Trans not to build interstate 5 over the top of the falls or nearby. They actually re-directed I 5 around the falls so that the scenic beauty and pristine location was not sacraficed. Way to go Cal Trans!!! jt Hello Karen and Lora!! Scott Leary H.S.: Last week I met up with two longtime past customers Scott Leary and Griff Marshall, at Henderson Springs for Scott's 40th birthday present to himself. It didn't take long for Scott to hook up a monster in Grand Pa's creek, located on Henderson's property. Big Lunker H S 2004: After a 20 minute battle which included Scott, Shasta, and I running up and down the banks of Grand Pa's Creek, we finally landed this pesca, in need of the Atkins diet! On a another mentionable note, this trout weighed in, around 12 lbs. Wow! Dude, slow down on the all those Dragon Fly Nymphs, that stuff can lead to heart disease. You need a tread mill! Jack and Scott H S: Way to go Scott! You're my SIZZLER OF THE WEEK!! CONGRATULATIONS SIZZLER!! HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY!!! 20 YEARS A GO!! JT Griff Marshall H S: My ole buddy Griff Marshall, with this trout that lost his part to another dinosaur in that movie Jurassic Park. He was bummed when it happened, but opted to play a role in Griff's new action thriller, "How I lost my arm at Henderson Springs!" Rated PG 13.... Upper Sac 1st trip: Spring is here, and with that comes my favorite part of the year, rafting the Upper Sac in my inflatable raft! I was really excited this year cause I purchased a brand new Sotar 14 footer. This was our, maiden voyage and the river level was perfect, as we made our 11 mile journey down the head waters, which after a series of dams and weirs, eventually leads to the pacific ocean. Upper Sac Stone: I stopped to enjoy some views and eat some lunch, when my friends noticed an adult stone fly on my shoulder. Like a captain of a ship with his bird on his shoulder, I welcomed my new found friend, and ask him if he had dodged any trout lately? Upper Sac McCardle 2004: Floating through McCardle flats is always a rush!!! What a great Spring were experiencing here in Siskiyou County, come on up and see it for yourself!! Did you know the Upper Sac will most likely be opening up to fly fishing, catch and release in the Winter 2004/2005. Let me know your thoughts on this issue. That would mean the Upper Sac would be open year around!!??!!??.....jt Upper Sac feeder 2004: Boulder Creek, on the Upper Sac. Near Gibson exit, off I 5. Green Bridge: Thanks to my two friends, Eddy and Tim who traveled with me and Shasta on our maiden voyage of 5 hours + from Sims to Dog Creek Beach on the Upper Sac. Turtle down the road: Meanwhile, Cruising down to the Klamath the other day in the Shasta Valley, I noticed this turtle in the midlle of the road. Until your safe and sound sheryl crow: I picked Mr. Turtle up and brougt him over to where he was heading and laughed as I thought to myself what a great week, with great weather, and a happy ending to boot!**WELL FOLKS, I HOPE YOU LIKED MY LATEST TALE.
