So magnificent, so enormous, so undescribable and yet so close. Ana Maria and I are having a ball here in Brazil, near the three borders of Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. These are the widest waterfalls in the world and I'll be giving you live reports for the next two weeks from the most incredible place I've ever seen. jt

One of the days we payed about $7US each and went to the park of the birds, wow what a great place. All kinds of native Brazilian birds that are not all caged up you can walk right up to them and say hello. Ana enjoyed this banana tree that stood tall and proud.

We came to Brazil with Ana Maria's Unversity friends from Temuco Chile, They also enjoyed what the park had to offer. It's nice to travel in groups there's always something going on or something new to learn from the group. Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay are so inexpensive to travel, buy and see it's kinda amazing our dollar goes far!

These monkies are native to Brazil and were fun to visit. down below them were more birds, turtles and my favorite fish! I highly suggest you come down sometime, email me at info@jacktrout.com for any information or comments. It's very safe here and all these countries love Americans, that is North Americans they consider themselves Americans too and so do I. In any event don't miss out on the greatest place on earth Foz do Iquacu.

This bird I kinda felt sorry for, He needs the men's hair clinic. Talk about bad hair day, looks like someone used his hair for dubbing to tie flies. I think I've seen that neck in a fly shop once also.

Back at Foz De Iquazu, this is the Argentinan side of the falls and if you come down I suggest you do both sides, it includes a trip on a boat very close and under some of the falls, after that, a safari ride through the jungle. I felt like Indiana Jones on the sizzlin safari ride.

The markets are great! Ana Maria bought this dress for $2US, I'm not kidding it's so inexpensive here things are unbeliveable cheap. Food like dinner is always about $6US for two and that usually includes drinks and everything. The food is so awesome here, but the shops are even better!!

Growing up in Northern California I always loved the Oakland Raiders, SF Giants, SF 49ers and Oakland A's. I was bummed to hear th 9ers loss to Tampa but just by luck I was walking up a street and ask these cab guys to flip through through their channels to see if by chance, the Raiders game was playing. Lo and behold it was on!! I hung out for three hours educating these cabbies on the game I loved to play in high school!! by the end, they loved it too and promise to follow the Raiders throughout the playoffs!! yes they get all the same channels we do. jt

Here's a coffee plant, the coffee is so good here i'm gonna bring home 20 bags or more at a $1.00 per bag how can you go wrong.

We stayed here comped by the San Rafael Hotel, this is a great place for gourmet buffet meals. The pool is great and they have a entertainment area for guest contact me for any information. The staff is excellent and incourage North Americans to come and visit, very reasonable priced. **STAY TUNED SIZZLERS FROM FOZ DO IQUACU BRAZIL, I'LL BE REPORTING THERE FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS, UNTIL THEN BEST REGARDS JACK TROUT AND ANA MARIA**
