Renanca Beach:
Howdy everyone please enjoy this weeks pics from Renanca and Valparaiso Chile. Ana and I are now in Brazil but this past week we've enjoyed nice weather and great rays from some of the nices beaches Chile has to offer. This is another great place to visit when your down under.
2 babes on the beach:
Two cuties on the beach enjoying life talking about good times while they soak up the sun for free! The exchange is so awesome right now for dollars, some places are paying 720 pesos to the $1.00 that makes eating and traveling very cheap. You can stay in the coastal towns for as little as $7 US per Person!! Food is even cheaper than that.
Cable car system in valparaiso and Ana:
Valparaiso, Chile is a wonderful city that reminds me of San Francisco with the ports and ships that bring in most of Chile imports and exports. The streets are so steep that cable cars can be scene throughout the city to pull folks up to their homes from the downtown area. We were in an earth quake while staying here which are quite common in this region of Chile. (it was fun!!) The next day they had a carnival in the streets of Valparaiso like they do every Sunday called Kids Fair! The food here is awesome too!!
Seafood Market:
We went to the Market one day to check it out downstairs is the vegetable market up stairs is the seafood market and restaurants and boy did we eat like kings for under $6.00!! look at these lovely tasting mixtures of crab, abalone, merluza, shrimp etc. you won't leave hungry trust me and everything is so fresh they won't sell it the next day...jt
Veggie Market2:
The Vegable market is a great place to visit I saw the most wonderful fruits and vegables I've ever seen. Please don't mix this up with Mexico you don't get sick on the food. If you want to experience the best food go to Chile. Everyone is so happy and they love Americans!! I see American flags everywhere, it's ours and their symbol of freedom!!
Kids fair Valparaiso:
Like I said every Sunday Valparaiso has kids fair. This is a lot of fun they role out all kinds of things like a bull riding machine, carnival clowns, music and entertainment. Little did I know I would be part of this weeks entertainment, being the only greigo in the crowd of course I was choosen for the next exibition! The next day we went and saw My Fat Greek Wedding in a theatre it was great!!
Kids fair Valparaiso fireman:
Kids fair was great and I met this fire cheif there that said his Son on the east coast fought hard to save lives at ground zero!!! These firemen were so cool they bring out this truck every week to let kids jump from the latter into a big firemen's matress, you know the one they actually use to save lives with. The funny story is that they've used it three times to saves lives in real life, twice for the same depressed man........
Vina on top of a roof:
One of the things I love about Chile is, I asked these guards at the bottom of this tall building to take me to the roof for a picture for my web site and 5 minutes later I was on the roof looking down at the center plaza. This and the fire truck thing for the kids would not go over to well in United States due to potential law suits from the sue happy society we live in. Chile and South America is like the US in 1940, still virgin to that stuff, people just let you be what you want to be. NO JUDGE WAUPNER!!!
Ana's Seafood Plate:
Here's Ana's seafood plate from the seafood market it's covered with baked parmesan cheese and inside is abalone mixed with the most delicious seafood delicables on the planet!
Sunday Ice Cream:
All this great food is making me hungry for desert this sunday cost me $1.85 wow lets get two!!!
Horse Buggy:
This horse buggy ride was fun to shoot a pic of, they have them all over Vina Del Mar, what a great way to see the city.** ANA MARIA AND I ARE IN BRAZIL NOW SO STAY TUNE FOR MY NEXT REPORT FROM THE WIDEST WATER FALLS IN THE WORLD!!! I JUST HAD MY FIRST CUP OF BRAZILLIAN COFFEE WOW WHAT A GREAT TASTE, RICHNESS WORTH A SECOND CUP!!!! NEXT REPORT 4 DAYS OR SOONER STAY TUNED SIZZLERS** JACK TROUT
