Tuesday, July 23rd, 2002 **SUMMER FUN IS HERE IN MT SHASTA!**

McCloud Pocket Water:

Here we are in the middle of the a great Summer, what a great time to visit your favorite lake, stream or river. This is also a great time of year to hang up the fishing midday and go our on a inter-tube and get wet! I like carrying a snorkle and mask and diving into the river to see what lurks beneath the depths. I've been seeing some really big fish, hope to see you out there! JT

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is David. He enjoys spending time out with Dad on the McCloud River. He had a choice to go just about anywhere on this vacation and David wisely chose the McCloud River. He had a great time and plans to return when ever he and Dad can.

David nice Catch!! David fought this Lunker Brown trout with determination and a little help from his guide. (I held him from getting pulled in!) David was very happy he landed this Beauty and plans to catch one like this every trip. way to go David, your my "Sizzler of the Week!"

Here's Dad with a nice one too, Hey John I think David's is bigger! What a proud Papa, out with his oldest boy catching trout, what could be better. What a good Dad taking the time to show his son the outdoors and respecting nature.

DK on the McCloud Falls:

David Knowles enjoyed his stay out here from the East Coast. He's a writter for Travel and Leisure Magazine. He had a such a great afternoon with his family being toured around the local area. He caught a lot of trout under Middle Falls on the McCloud River.
