You ever wonder what it's like for a bug to live inside our native
Elephant Ears? This plant is also known as Indian Rubarb. It lines the our local rivers and kinda reminds me of the old RCA phonograph record speakers you or your parents might of played their hit singles on. I'm not trying to date anyone but thats a few weeks back!!! JT
Here's my ole pal Mack fighting a McCloud Rainbow and barely winning the battle.
Way to go Mack Daddy!! This trout fought like Mike Tyson getting called names in a preschool. We landed him way down stream from where he took the trick, That treat was a size 14 Dark Lord a great pattern for the McCloud.
Hey folks this is the real "Big Mack!" Way to go Mack your my Sizzler of the Week!!! Congradulations JT
Archie seen here with a nice trout caught out of my raft on the Upper Sac this past week. This is my last week of rafting the Upper Sac until next year, wow what a great two months of floating the ole mighty river! "Thanks Upper Sac, I Love You Man!" JT
After that nice trout Archie celebrated by jumping off the this 25 foot cliff! Some people express themselves in different ways Archie likes heights or should I say the "shock effect!" Great angler too!!!
One evening John and I went out and used dry flies to catch as many
as a dozen trout! We caught most of our trout on size 14 parachute Adams. "Match the hatch but put on a Adams!"
This past week on the Klamath was crazy, one day we had 52 steelhead to the boat all on size 4 foam body Stimulators. Todd Foster here landed this 4 lb Steelhead like he used to throw touch downs in high school. The only difference he had a better protecting line than the one he had in school, being sack 12 times in a game isn't fun but he's healed since then and ready for more action.
Dad got into the action by catching many like these on the Klamath river, it's great to see Mike Foster out doing what he really loves to do, FISH! Take care Mike, Todd, Shirley and TRACY! JT
Grant enjoyed being out in the raft! He hooked into a nice trout while we were floating some really slow stretch of the Upper Sac.
Here's the catch! nice one Grant hope to see you up in the Fall!!**WELL THAT'S ANOTHER GREAT WEEK OF GUIDING, NEXT WEEK THE STONE FLIES GET MORE THICK! CALL US TO BOOK THE KLAMATH OR EVEN CHILE FOR 2004, UNTIL THEN JACK TROUT ENJOY YOUR 4TH OF JULY!
