These are the kind of views you'll expect to see when you raft the Upper Sacramento River. We got lucky and received a bunch of rain over the past two days which will extend my rafting season into June!!! I still have some days available so call me to experience the best guide trip in the North State. JT

Wow! What a beautiful Picture! This is Catherine and Shasta ( Shasta the chick magnet) I always get the old men, Shasta gets the pretty ladies, just doesn't seem fair. Catherine and Shasta had a great time together looking at the scenery and cheering Doug on as he reeled in another gorgeous Upper Sac Rainbow. This picture was taken down in the La Moine Canyon, I might add we didn't see anyone that day!

It's really easy to fight a trout out of the raft, with my bench seat up front or we can chase him down stream no problem. It helps if the guide is in the boat rowing and not out of it trying to take a picture. Doug loved the fight this bionic trout displayed, and was rewarded with a huge rapid after this catch!

This is the kind of rapids to expect when you go my Upper Sac raft trip! I diffently might mention that only truly experienced rafters should do this trip. The Upper Sac is full of class 3 and 4 rapids and must know where to go and what side of the river to be on when you enter the rapid, I call this one "The Storm", It's a thriller!

This is Doug, you might remember him from a story last June on the Klamath River. he's back trying his luck on the Upper sac! This was a great fighter, Doug said at the end of the day that this was the best fishing trip he's ever been on! He caught 11 trout over 16"'s and this guy has fished all over the world. I love my Upper Sac raft trips and I'm sad every year when the river is too low to float anymore, but the thought of floating the river next season refuels the fire. Way to go Doug!!! "SIZZLER OF THE WEEK!"

Many places we float we have access to these perfect runs, like this one through La Moine. We had three hooks ups in this one stretch alone. Yea, all in all it was a very memorable day. Catherine and Shasta, Doug and Me going down a great western river in search of native wild trout. Doug and Catherine most diffently will be back, hope to see you too.**WELL FOLKS HOPE ALL IS GREAT IN YOUR LIVES!
