US Dean fish:
Well, here we are right smack dab in the middle of a spectacular trout season! The stone flies are starting to appear on the Upper Sac, McCloud and Pit Rivers, while the salmon flies are sunning themselves on the Klamath and Hat Creek. The weather is starting to change as the smell of warm mountain pines and BBQ's fill the air around our modern day Mt Shasta. I hope all is well with you, and your trip to Mt Shasta is being planned as we speak, Dean here in the picture, planned months ago and is reaping the benefits from it, as his fly rod begs for mercy and his reel screams that familiar song...
uSAC bRUCE n:
The Upper Sac has been fishing great on sunny days while trout remain finicky on the overcast days which have been producing wind and no hatches. Now, those cloudy days have passed and all we have are excellent hatches and predictable June fishing that puts a smile on everyone's face....
uSAC release:
Ah, the release! Shasta is very impressed and gives Bruce a 10 on his gentle release. Did you know Shasta the Trout Dog has been on over 1600 guide trips! She's like the BONDS of Trout Dogs! Bruce had a great time, hope you enjoyed your Cal Trout donated trip! jt
uSAC on the raft:
Out on the raft life's great! The fishing has been awesome with 20 to 30 fish to the boat on May 29th and again on May 30th. You can actually see the trout swim under the boat in large schools. On more than one occasion we have drfited over schools of trout and have got hook ups! The Sac is Back, Sizzlers, in a big way and the trout are bigger this year! jt

Ted got into the act not too long after Rick did hooking up on this lovely cromer to go! Red Copper John size 14 is the fly on the Upper Sac right now.... jt

Larry Masula of Chico has been on my rafting trip for five years in a row! Hooking up on a nice Camloop trout from Shasta Lake can make anyones day! But even better is being awarded SIZZLER OF THE WEEK! LARRY MASULA YOU'RE MY SIZZLER OF THE WEEK, CONGRATULATIONS SIZZLER!!! JT

Kevin enjoyed his trip out with Pops this year. Jim and Kevin have fun anytime they are out together!
Chris Upper Sac:
Chris out with his dad Bob, out caught Pops by a mile and this made Pops smile! I foresee guiding for Chris in the not so distant future! This kid can fish, and has an advance degree in the hobby of collecting aquatic insects and vice replication of each specie.....jt
